Dear E29 Marketing Community,

We want to bring to your attention an important matter regarding your online safety. It has come to our attention that there is a rising number of scam messages circulating on WhatsApp and Telegram. These fraudulent messages often impersonate recruiters and recruitment agencies, including E29 Marketing. Their aim is to deceive individuals by promoting fake job advertisements and attempting to gather personal information. Currently there is a scammer using a domain similar to E29. They have illegally stolen our corporate identity to impersonate our company on the website: e29marketing.world.  This company is a scam and NOT part of E29 Marketing.

These scams are similar to deceptive emails or text messages that impersonate banks or mobile service providers. The scammers’ primary goal is to acquire your sensitive data through malicious means or deceive people regarding job opportunities. We kindly request that you all remain vigilant and informed about the ongoing scam targeting job seekers. Fraudsters may contact you with job offers in an attempt to obtain your personal information or request payments.

If you receive a message on WhatsApp or Telegram claiming to be from E29 Marketing (specifically e29marketing.world)and you suspect it to be a phishing message or a scam, we urge you to take the following steps:

  • Block the sender’s number.
  • Report the scam to 7726 – a free reporting service provided by phone operators.

For additional guidance on identifying phishing messages and the appropriate actions to take, please visit the Action Fraud website: https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/#/?orgcode=USAGOV.

Here are some common signs of a phishing message:

  • It is a message you were not expecting.
  • It originates from an unfamiliar phone number or email address.
  • It contains suspicious links; avoid clicking them.
  • It offers unrealistic salaries or job arrangements.
  • The sender asks for money or personal details, such as your CV.
  • The message is poorly written and contains spelling errors.

We want to emphasize that our team always conducts itself professionally and will never make suspicious requests. We appreciate those who have already reported evidence of this scam. Your safety and security are important to us.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

E29 Marketing
